Taking advantage of its unique location near Dubai Creek and Old Dubai, this proposed design aligns itself to the seaside strip. The project primarily consists of two residential towers, 130 and 200-meters high, connected by a 3-story podium. Exclusive building amenities are located on the top level of the podium, while smaller landscaped pockets are spread throughout. They aid in the creation of microclimates with their shaded outdoor spaces, while allowing uninterrupted views of the cove to the penthouses and the sky special units behind. On the podium’s sea-facing façade, duplexes with private roof terraces offer a low-rise alternative to the towers, a smaller scale in direct dialogue with the seaside promenade.

In a city rife with residential towers, the project aspires to differentiate itself from its neighbors, steering clear of overly complex forms and gesticulations to opt for a purer, more streamlined approach. The façade, displaying a constant rhythm, is punctuated by urban window accents, creating an interplay of solids and voids within a simple homogenous whole.

The towers, while independent, are designed to complement each other. Each tower’s rectangular plan is altered by slightly tilting two of its façades; this trapezoidal configuration gently directs the views of the apartments towards the sea and away from its neighboring twin, ensuring total privacy and generating a visual play of staggered geometries. A number of different apartment typologies is explored to create an efficient range of flats, with uninterrupted views of the sea, the Dubai skyline, and Old Dubai.
