waqf foch office building
beirut, lebanon
2011

An unusual commission whereby a future tenant has a building built for his own use over 20 years prior to returning it to its religious owners. ngª must therefore satisfy the mid and long term requirements of two divergent clients in a unified solution. As a result, the small office floor plate is very flexible and can even accommodate a charming apartment organized around a private court on the top floor; at first glance it blends with it's 1930's neighbors, but tends to show subtle choices and solutions to contemporary office needs.
