Competition entry for a four-star hotel on a relatively large site on the fringe of the new city. The scheme pays its dues to the old Khans. It embraces the plot with a low wall of bungalows, defining a large and serene landscaped courtyard where residents and visitors can take refuge from the buzzing and crowded old souks.
