Inserted in the bare sand dunes of Dubai’s suburbs, a series of cubed volumes varying in height are dispersed around an enclosed glazed courtyard.This lush internal garden serves as the main connection between all the various functions in the house, and is the main living space from which one first enters the villa.  Each cube houses a different function, with the master bedrooms leading to a private terrace and shaded pool area on the roof top. 

Thick external walls, deep openings, and vertical lattice work are all strategies used to filter out most of the sunlight and provide passive cooling in an otherwise warm climate.
